Where the studio grew up: coffee shops, roasters, a festival, bakeries, a craft beer, a charcuterie and a caviar farm.
Cromatic Studios · The new website
Bucharest, rebuilt as a small 3D city. Every client is a building. Every industry is a street. Come and find the work.
Every client is a building. Every industry is a street. The studio is the green house at the end of the road.
The idea
Most studio portfolios are a grid of thumbnails. You scroll, you nod, you forget. We built a city instead. You drive in, you find the work by exploring, and you leave knowing what a brand is made of. And it still loads fast, reads well and shows up in search.
00 · The welcome
Before the city, a kinetic intro: the studio's promise, word by word, then a wall of porcelain cups that drops away to reveal the map. The yellow cup is the studio's mark. It spins on the loading screen and in the browser tab too.
Three ways in
One studio, one story, three ways to take it in. Pick the one that suits your mood, your device or your deadline.
Tap a place on the 3D map. The van drives you there, the camera swings round to the front door and a card opens with the project.
Open the map →Scroll like you normally do and you drive the route. Chapters, a coffee stop, a crossroads, a speedometer, and a boarding pass at the end.
Start the drive →The same story as a fast, classic website. Content first, every case study on its own page, in English and Romanian.
Read the website →01 · The Map
Cromatic City is a diorama of the studio's Bucharest. The streets are industries, the buildings are clients, and every place is numbered, labelled and waiting to be found.
The map opens with a welcome card: tap a place, we drive you, see the work, say hi. Four doors in: Coffee Street, Fintech Boulevard, Medical Avenue, or straight to the studio.
Every place is numbered. Its label hangs on a hairline stem from the roof: quiet at rest, rich on hover, with a soft glow on the ground when it is open. Zoom in, zoom out, or tap ◎ to find the van.
Pick a place and the Mystery van takes the real roads of the map, the shortest way. Then the camera swings down, cinematic, to the building's front door.
Every place card carries a picture, a few honest lines and one button to the full case. “Unpack the story.” “Peek behind the curtain.” “Dig deeper.”
Some clients are a whole neighbourhood. The Zdrovit yard holds a courtyard of health and beauty brands. The more you wander, the more you find: 50+ places, 43 of them waiting on the dock.
Streets are industries
Where the studio grew up: coffee shops, roasters, a festival, bakeries, a craft beer, a charcuterie and a caviar farm.
Banks, brokers, investment groups, a fintech festival and an energy company, made clear and human.
Clinics, labs, pharma and aesthetic medicine, from Bucharest to Barcelona. Plus the Zdrovit yard of brands.
Two print shops with a voice: one sings, one sticks. The little yellow house is plastered with its own work.
The palace where the studio worked in 2024: Club 99 downstairs, a faculty and a school of digital arts upstairs.
The last stop · Strada Olari 9
Tap “Our house” and the camera takes a slow cinematic descent to the green house, under a beam of light. Photo cards of the studio fan out, with the address, the phone and a way to get there.
02 · The Drive
In drive mode the page is the road. Every flick of the wheel or swipe of the thumb moves the van forward. Scroll down here and you will see.
The drive starts where the studio started, in 2014. Scroll down and the van rolls.
Each chapter teaches a piece of branding, in plain words, and pays you 20 XP.
Scroll gently and you cruise. Scroll like a maniac and the needle goes red.
Coffee, fintech or medical. Similar arrival time. Different scenery.
The crossroads
At the end of the first stretch, three motorway signs drop in. Arrows on your keyboard work too. Coffee Street is the story road, so we take it.
The coffee stop · Strada Aricescu 52A
Two Minutes has been the studio's client and neighbour for a decade, so the drive always stops here. Four double espressos, +5 XP each. The coffee boxes fly down from the Cromatic attic and stack by the door, like resources in a strategy game. Then the coffee rush hits.
Next time, I'll stop at three doubles.
Speed limit
Ten seconds at 50 km/h, a siren in the corner, then you are free to go. It is a joke, and a gentle way to say: slow down, this is worth reading. Try it. This speedometer reads your scroll.

Above the clouds · Final call
The drive ends at Strada Olari 9, then goes even further. The contact form is a boarding pass: what are we dreaming about, what kind of business you are, when do we start. Fill it in, press “I want to come on board”, and a pass is printed with your name on it.
And then a surprise we will not spoil in words. Watch the screen.
Choose your brand multiverse

A world to talk about
Graphite on paper, construction lines first. Wherever you go, the pencil fills in the city, and every button is coloured in wax crayon, slightly over the lines. Each world has its own light, its own ambient sound and its own default ride.
Your ride
The Mystery van is the default. Swap it any time: every ride drops in with a little bounce and a golden shockwave.

The top bar is an XP bar. Every discovery pays: a chapter, a place on the map, a street, an espresso, the boxes of coffee, the boarding pass. Tap the bar and the experience journal drops down, with every gain and what you learned from it.
The more you discover, the more you learn. And the bar never lies.
Learn branding as you go
Every stop teaches something. Strategy, identity, the places a brand lives in, the people who make it alive. The deliverables are named plainly, so a founder knows what to ask for.
Killer strategy. Outstanding design. Striking visuals. Powerful storytelling. Genuine passion and real empathy for your customer. And a coffee. There is always a coffee.
Brand strategy
Every brand starts as somebody's dream at a kitchen table. Two cups of coffee and a lot of hard questions later, the dream has a spine: your strategy, positioning, personas, the reason anyone should care.
What this includes
Brand identity
Then the dream learns to talk. A name, a mark, a tone of voice. The things people repeat about you when you are not in the room.
What this includes
Web, apps, packaging, film
A voice needs a world to live in. Websites, apps, packaging, film. Places your customer can walk into and instantly feel who you are, before reading a single word.
What this includes
Content & growth
A beautiful world with nobody in it is a museum. We bring the crowd. Content strategy, social design, ad campaigns and Instagram growth with taste, not tricks.
What this includes

03 · The Website
The classic website tells the same story with content first: no city to load, no waiting, every word indexable. It is where a journalist copies a quote and a CFO checks the client list.

Fast · findable · readable
A 3D city is no excuse for a page search engines cannot read. Every page is real, fast HTML, and the whole studio is written down for the AI assistants people now ask first.
A plain summary of the studio, the services, the team and every case study, plus llms-full.txt with the full text of every page.

- Languages: English, Romanian
That is the first line of the file. Search and AI crawlers are named and let in.
45 Romanian pages with hreflang pairs, so each language finds its own reader.
Home, website, industries, services, team and every case study, with real last-modified dates.
WebP pictures with exact sizes, films that load only when you reach them, pages precompressed with Brotli.
Under the city, the drive ships its full story as text: readable without WebGL, and by anything that cannot drive.
Details nobody asked for
24 frames of the yellow porcelain cup, on the loading screen and in the browser tab. Yes, the favicon turns.
White pills, a brand dot, a number, a stem down to the roof.
Street names float over every street like motorway signs.
A cover photo, a few lines, one button. The card opens away from the building, so you see both.
Rain and lightning come and go on the drive, the umbrella turns them off, and each world hums its own ambient sound, with a mute button close by.
Chips instead of dropdowns, and a pass you can save as a picture.
The studio · Strada Olari 9
Cromatic Studios started in 2014 with two people and a company name written on a napkin. It was founded by Daniel Stoicescu, still the studio's creative architect. Today it is led by two partners who are also brothers: Daniel, the founder, and Cristian Stoicescu, the CEO. Ten people, one house, Strada Olari 9, Bucharest.
On the drive you pass every address the studio ever had, each with its plate: Muniției 5, Călinescu 54, Eliade 18, Dacia 99, and Olari 9, today.
